How to change root password in freebsd?

Everything seems to be simple - booted from the disk, mounted the partition, changed the password. But! The previous system administrator in a hurry dropped the words, they say, I’ll tell you how to mount the partition in such a situation, and they forgot in the bustle. What are the options? Cryptocurrency?
