How to change Quake 3 posting script?

After installing the quake3-data package, due to the collapse of the official ftp, post-install hangs for 20 minutes and after any access to dpkg (in an attempt to install q3). Where can I remove this script that requests the download of files from ftp? (the files themselves have long been downloaded from another place and the game works fine)
