How to change netbeans.conf in ubuntu 18.04 if it says the file is read-only?
I need to change netbeans_jdkhome in netbeans.conf , but there is no change access, I tried and sudo did not help either, the file is in snap/netbeans/current/netbeans/etc/netbeans.conf. HELP!!!

Local: To make individual changes that will apply only to a specific user, put them into the etc/netbeans.conf file in the user's userdir .
The local file does not exist by default! If you don't see a ${userdir}/etc directory you have to create the file yourself. The easiest way to do that is to copy the global netbeans.conf file from the NetBeans installation folder to the local ${userdir}/etc folder, and then make the desired changes.

sudo chmod 664 /snap/netbeans/current/netbeans/etc/netbeans.conf
or sudo chown USER /snap/netbeans/current/netbeans/etc/netbeans.conf
then editing via sudo
ps
maybe the disk is mounted in readonly,
remount with rights for recording
Snap is a fancy new packet format that uses read-only loop mounts.
