How to change indentation when inserting code?

Visual Studio Code

I'm using Manjaro Linux
Switching from the Atom editor to Visual Studio Code, as atom often crashes for me.
In Atom, when inserting a block of code, the missing ones are automatically added, or extra indents / spaces are removed.

For me, when inserting several lines, I have to add or remove indents ...
This is noticed only in .php files. For example, pasting into .json works fine ...

There are formatting options in the settings: format on paste, but this is either not what I need, or it does not work.
Please tell me the solution
