How to update code in visual studio code?

I'm trying to write a discord bot in python using Visual Studio Code.
The bottom line is that if I change the code and want to test it, I have to close Visual Studio Code, reopen it and run the code. I tried using F5, but it turns out that the old code and the new code are combined and both are executed. How to make code reloading easier? I open not a folder, but one file.
