How to change .exe file?

Maybe I’m asking on the wrong site, but tell me if anyone knows, there is a standard Windows exe file, (script) it starts and works only at a resolution of 1600x900, but how can I change it to another? I have a 1378 screen and it does not work correctly

Exe has nothing to do with it. It's just an executable. What is done there is up to the developers. And you can't influence it with such knowledge

If the application does not provide for the use of a separate config file with video mode settings, then in the general case - no way. Similar characteristics are laid down in the project files by the application developers. Naturally, no one will provide you with these source files.
There is an option to reverse engineer the exe file and try to find the right bytes that are responsible for the video mode.
But if you ask such a question, then you are not familiar with reverse engineering. To use it, it is not enough just to get acquainted with the decompilation process, you need to eat a dog on this.

Exe file to change - you need knowledge of reverse engineering. (although there is a brute-force option - change all occurrences of 1600 (in the 16th system) with a hex editor several at a time, until you're lucky).
But you can try tools like Actual Window Manager . It can force resize fixed windows. Not the fact that it will help if everything inside is nailed, but there are chances.
