How to change design on subdomains?

I want to make something like a portfolio, I took hosting and added 2 subdomains site1.site.ru and site2.site.ru to the main site.ru domain. There
is a public_html folder in the file manager and that's it, I threw my main layout there and it is displayed everywhere. How to name folders for subdomains? Upon transition on which other designs will be opened.

I think this should be configured on the hosting, where you specify which domain looks at which folder.
