How to change date format via migrations?

Writes only such date format yyyy-mm-dd to the database. And I need dd-mm-yyyy.
Is it possible to somehow change the date format through migrations?
I just have it configured that the user enters data in the form dd-mm-yyyy, and the database swears that it cannot write such a format.
