How to change cursor display in OS X terminal?

Good afternoon!
The point is simple.
When the terminal window is active, the mouse cursor becomes a vertical wand (I honestly don't remember what it's called there).
And, unlike the usual mouse cursor (arrow), it is lost very quickly. Already my eyes hurt to look for her. Is it possible to reconfigure? (I searched but couldn't find it)

No, not about that. I write, the mouse cursor .
And this is the console cursor. They seem to be separate.
And yes, maybe someone will tell you how to use home / end in the console (I found ctrl + a about home, it seems to plow, I didn’t find a combination on end)

When alt is pressed, the appearance of the "stick" changes to a "cross".
