How to read an Ext4 disk on Windows or Mac in the easiest way?

There is an external drive with ext4, which was recorded on Linux. Now there is no Linux and the task is to read it without unnecessary dances with a tambourine. The more the better. Writing is not required, but encouraged.
I know about all sorts of ParagonSoft, but last time, for example, on a Mac, it didn’t work for me even after a reboot.

ext2fsd - I use it myself and recommend it to others.
Well, or "disk / partition managers" acronis, paragon, minitool ...
