How to change "cups-pdf.conf" for CUPS virtual printer if for any uri like "cups-pdf:/any" the config is still default?
Setting up a CUPS virtual printer, PDF.
Background:
HPColorLaserJet1500 did not want to cling to Windows7 in any way (the CU upgraded the station). And also there are no drivers for 7-ku for SonyUp- * 895 and the like (instead of two PCs, which was one, under the 7th Windows, dira also works on it). The task comes and sinks into the abyss. The number of pages is N/A, the printer blinks and does not print. The machine (under 7) can print on Cupd-pdf. I decided to add my program in PostProcessing that sends it to WinXP (it is launched as a service and simply receives, writes to a file and copies to a printer). Added a script to the cups print server to check postprocessing. The script works, renames the file. But here I cannot force printers to write to different directories. And then you need to print on different physical printers (send to different machines with windowsXP). Of course, you can give one machine a printman-1 user and another printman-2, and so distinguish them, but not pretty. I want all the same so that in different directories. And in cups-pdf.c it seems to be honestly written that it checks uri ... But I did not look at the gentoo sources when I compiled them.
Therefore, the question is: Has anyone allowed cups-pdf to change this case through uri? Is there a workaround?
Haven't gotten into the sources yet. It's a pity, of course, if instead of ...*uri=...(); just a function prototype :)
Still, after installing cups-filters, cups-windows, gutenprint, hplip, the web muzzle (modification of the printer) fell off by timeout (probably). Then I'll check on a faster PC.
