How to change annex a to annex b?

Available DG834 v4 Annex A; for Annex B there is a DG834B version.
Is it possible to make the DG834 work with Annex B by software or hardware methods?

went to change. I just bought it for 650r, when its real price is 1000r more expensive. It's a pity they don't have annex B model

Most likely - no. The hardware part is responsible for annex b.
Try to ask the provider to install annex b on your port forcibly, if the modem does not pick it up by itself - no luck.

Some modems supported software switching (AusLinx AL-2007). Judging by the description from netgear, this is not your case.
