How to catch the cause of a computer freeze?

There is a car, not bad enough for 1s7. But it happens that something happens, and as a result I get a dead hang. At what happens it is in 1s. In other applications everything is fine. Maybe there is some program-logger? Something like: put -> it hangs in running -> freeze -> reboot and look at the logs for recent actions / messages. The rest of the methods did not help (rearranging windows, 1c, cleaning the case / parts from dust, etc.). I would be glad to hear any advice.
PS Windows 7
