How to cast screen from PC to Android in VR format?

I want to work for a PC, so that apart from its screen nothing gets into the field of view (blind typing). If I understand correctly, for this you need to get an image from a PC to a phone via wifi or usb and simply repeat it on the left and right on the phone. Then Google Cardboard and you're done. Or not? I generally thought that the finished application is already in the play store, but I have not found it yet.
