How to capture images from both cameras of a dual photo module on android?

The phone has two cameras. I would like to get an image from both, for further processing and use in AR and VR technology. Maybe you can somehow fool around with root? I don't know much about Android programming. But still, if there is such an opportunity to shoot both images, then I will gladly take up this topic. There will be a reason to study neural networks for image processing.
