How to cancel auto-opening of a file copied in PhpStorm?

When copying and pasting a file or folder from Windows Explorer into the PhpStorm project files window - after uploading, I always have one of the copied files open. Code files can be very large and the program freezes. We have to wait. How to cancel auto-opening of a file?

most likely you have the Autoscroll to Source option enabled
