How to calculate the payment per order correctly in freelancing?

Hello. More recently, I work as a freelancer, and it’s hard to adequately and objectively calculate the payment for an order. For example, the last customer has been developing an important TOR for them for 3 days already. The order is serious, for me, and I can not correctly set the price: for the preliminary time spent, for making changes, and so on. Anyone have any advice on this subject?

Be flexible. Set the price you want + 20% and say that you are ready to discuss the price. Further it will be easier. the customer may offer you a price without these 20% and you will be satisfied in the end :) If the project is really very incomprehensible in terms of time, then you can still throw a percentage on top, but at least + 100%. The main thing is not to decrease the price, because it is unlikely that you will be able to add it later, but lowering it is not a problem for you. Of course, it may turn out that the customer will say that you have turned down the price many times more than he expected, and in this case you will have to decide whether to work with him or not

Consent is the product of non-resistance on both sides. Therefore, do not be afraid to assign a large amount. If the customer is expensive for your services, send him to the forest, find another.
Determine for yourself how much time and money you can make a project, multiply the estimates by 2-3, and you will get the real cost of the project.
Are you afraid to give any assessments? Put them on the shoulders of the customer, work on an hourly basis.
