How to calculate distance using Yandex map?

The calculation of the distance on the map in km is required.
That is, there is a fixed address and there is a dynamic address.
We enter the address into the input and it calculates how many km from the fixed address to the entered address.

I thought to use Yandex maps for this business, but the calculation itself does not need to be shown on the map, it is enough to display just the number of km.

Do I understand correctly that Yandex does not have an implementation in php? Only write in js?
