How to bypass wifi restrictions?

In the dorm, public wifi restricts certain sites. It downloads files from the browser, visual studio also downloads everything you need. You can't download anything from a torrent. Including network games, like shooters do not want to load. Is there any way to bypass this limitation?

VPN should help + try in the torrent client to enable the settings "traffic encryption" and "random port when connecting"
