How to buy fonts for the web and how much should I pay?
Explain how to buy fonts for the web? All of them are worth some unmeasured money! For example, I want to buy this font: www.myfonts.com/fonts/s-core/core-sans-g/buy.html. At first glance, its price is $40. But when you add a font to the shopping cart, it turns out that the cost depends on the monthly number of page views with this font. And the price is $40 if you have no more than 10 thousand views.
On my own project, there are about 20 million views per month. And this is considered to be very average. And when you set the required number of views, the font will already cost $2900. And if you assume a tenfold growth of the project? Other fonts may cost even more.
For some fonts, over a few million impressions is considered an unlimited license purchase. But it's still very expensive. And it’s also strange that in the basket you can’t specify the number of views more than 1 billion. And they don’t offer an unlimited plan either.
Tell me, has anyone had experience buying fonts? How about, what does it all mean?

Then it’s easier to order a font on freelance and it will be developed especially for you.
Please note that you are looking at the cost of all font weights ($2900) and most likely desktop+web. Try to select only those styles that you really need?
In general, I, as a designer, believe that on the web you can solve any problem well with free solutions. There are exceptions, but they are extremely rare.
