How to burn .mov video to DVD to play on old DVD player?

Please advise a free and reliable (i.e. working) utility for solving this problem, under Windows. Thanks in advance.

I think it's a two step process.
First convert to avi, and then burn it to disk using ImgBurn, for example.
I won’t tell you about the converter, but here’s what I found:

@Rafael

There is a program DVDFlick
"Eats" almost all formats, resulting in a DVD (a set of vob and other files) for viewing on an old DVD player. The only negative is that it works for a long time. In general everything is good.
