The question remains relevant in the case of links like site/MMM/fileNNN, i.e. links are selected sequentially: from site/001/file001, then site/001/file002, etc., until for example site/999/file999.
And in the case of the proposed jumps through the lists, firstly, it is not indicated which tool I should use to compile these lists, if there are thousands and hundreds of thousands of links, and secondly, this is not required, there must be a method of built-in masks in some manager , which works from the lower region of the link to the higher one, as described above. I can't believe that this idea did not occur to any of the software developers.
