How to build iOS library (framework) on Jenkins?
Hello everyone, there are difficulties in understanding one question. I apologize in advance for the crumpled and not fully understood question.
There is Jenkins installed on Ubuntu 16.04 and a git repository with an Xcode project on which you need to build, test, etc (using Jenkins) ... The task is to build a .framework (library) and archive artifacts (the same either) in such a way that it can be downloaded from Jenkins or uploaded to the same HockeyApp.
Is it possible to build the source code of an Xcode project on a different operating system? And if so, what can be done about it?
I tried to use a bash script with the xcodebuild command, but since there is no Xcode on Ubuntu, Jenkins cannot execute this command accordingly.
PS: On MacOS, the build is performed due to the presence of Xcode in the system, and accordingly everything works as it should, but the question is, is it possible to build without Xcode and on another operating system?
