How to build imports from node_modules with esbuild?

I can't figure out how to use esbuild to build dependencies installed with npm/yarn.
With the usual import'e, it does not assemble the package into a bundle and there are no errors. As if everything is fine)
If anyone knows how to assemble, could you write a configuration example.
