How to build a sequence of training courses for career advancement?
I work as a technical support engineer 2 lines. Remote administration of servers on Linux & Win. Setting up servers for security companies, etc. Consultations, etc. Boringom is rare, because 90% of customers simply forgot to switch "automatic address assignment" to "manual" and that's it.
I want to take the "Python Developer" courses (I choose between SkyPro vs Hekslet) because I have already studied it a little, and move towards development. At the same time, I am interested in delving into the knowledge and administration of Linux.
Question: Where to run? Where to start and does it make sense to separately go to paid courses on Linux, or go to Python, and learn Linux on YouTube on your own?
And in general, maybe it’s better to go into DevOps with the current specialization?
I need to boost my career, because I forgot to say, I'm 54. I don't have that free time to spend a couple of years there, then a couple of years here ...

Dive into Linux administration and monitoring. Especially since you can do it at your current job.
Cover everything you can with convenient monitoring, at the same time you will advance in bash / python scripts for this.
I recommend choosing the popular Prometheus + Grafana.
In Devops - it's hard to say. On the one hand, yes, on the other hand, if so far there has been no experience with projects in development. there are many different tools to learn. Devops no longer work by hand, there are orchestrators, containers, CI / CD utilities everywhere, and bash / python is already being replaced by "yaml developers" =)
Maybe it makes sense not to bother, but just find a more convenient position as an integrator of a particular product and refine it there pensions.
Courses are useful only to their creators. Choose a textbook and practice.
