How to build a RAID on an existing server?

There is a server under Windows Server 2008r2 without a RAID array with important data, which was inherited from the previous administrator.
Is it possible to build software RAID1 or hardware RAID1 on an expansion board (noname board is available) without losing data, using an already working disk as an array disk?
There is no way to stop the server for more than an hour, otherwise it would have created an array and transferred the data a long time ago.

You can take a disk image, for example, with something like norton ghost, create an array, and upload the image back to it. Or, using windows backup, create a full backup, create an array, and restore the backup again using windows. The second option I think is more preferable. But it can take a lot of time...
When creating a RAID array, the disks are formatted..

RAID is not possible. you can clone a server if there is a resource, then reconfigure the server and move the clone to it.
