How to bring WD Mybook live to the network through another computer?

There is a WD MBL device. Connecting directly to the router is not possible. Is it possible to bring it out somehow to the network through a laptop? wd -> laptop 1 -> router. Yes, so that I could safely use it through notes 2 ?!
