How to boot Windows when connecting a hard drive to another PC?
Subject: we have a non-working PC with Windows and installed software, data, etc.
After the mother breaks down, it is necessary to connect the old hard to the new system unit and resume work. Naturally, Windows does not allow this to be done normally (a blue screen when the system boots - error 0x0000007b (0x80786B58, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)).
It is necessary to run it on other equipment without reinstalling the system.
OS: Windows 7 Starter OEM x32

Tried all of the above, unfortunately no result. Also tried the option with mergeide.reg . Iron is not one "family". Moreover, different processors: AMD on the old configuration and Intel on the new one (the richer, the more happy).

Found a solution to the problem
Sometimes this happens - according to my observations, when the chipset of the second mother is architecturally close to the chipset of the first. Let's say intel->intel, via->via etc. The difference in the video subsystem is well tolerated, there is compatibility going deep down. Well, you can try to disable the rest in the BIOS.
So try it on different "moms", and may the force be with you!
