How to block whatsapp autoplay on android 4.1?

I have WhatsApp installed on my smartphone just to have it just in case I need to chat with someone on it, but I don’t use it. I also don’t have a permanent Internet connection on my mobile phone, only WiFi. And this infection constantly autoruns and eats memory and other resources (which are few - the phone is budgetary and hellishly slow, I bought it just for the sake of the Qwerty keyboard). How to make it not autostart? I tried to block it through CleanMaster, but it did not help - it still autoruns.

Greenify (root is optional)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com....

Short description:
Management of background processes.
Description:
Greenify allows you to define and hibernate background processes and services that run on certain events (connecting to the network, unlocking the device, installing / removing programs, etc.)
A "greenified" program will not run in the background and run by events (alarm clocks, widgets, push messages, instant messengers, launchers, etc. will not work), but launched manually, it should work in full.

There is also Autostarts: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com....
Shows all programs that autostart and by what events, with the ability to block by individual events.
You can get it on w3bsit3-dns.com for free.
