How to bind RU-CENTER domain to heroku?

Hello, I'm trying to connect my domain purchased in RU-CENTER to my application on Heroku, I tried to google it, but I don't understand anything, and there is not a single video where it was clearly shown, everyone writes about some kind of CNAME, but I even I don't know what it is or where it is. By the way, if it matters, the application is in python.

First, link your existing domain to your Heroku app - https://dashboard.heroku.com/apps/ your_app /settings.
At the very bottom is the Domains item.
Once added, Heroku will give you an address on a subdomain other than your app's name - example-abcd-1234.herokudns.com.
Take the received address and follow this instruction
In short - you just need to add a dns record
Type - CNAME
Host - your domain
