How to bind item size to PyQt5/PyQt6 window size?
I made an application that downloads videos from YouTube, everything was fine, but I could not make the full screen mode due to the fact that when it was turned on, the size of the widgets did not change. To make it easier for you, I made a test program. I am using a different file to write program logic.
First (main):
from PyQt6 import QtCore, QtGui, QtWidgets class Ui_MainWindow(object): def setupUi(self, MainWindow): MainWindow.setObjectName("MainWindow") MainWindow.resize(640, 480) MainWindow.setStyleSheet("background-color: rgb(85, 85, 127);") self.centralwidget = QtWidgets.QWidget(MainWindow) self.centralwidget.setObjectName("centralwidget") self.pushButton = QtWidgets.QPushButton(self.centralwidget) self.pushButton.setGeometry(QtCore.QRect(270, 376, 91, 73)) self.pushButton.setObjectName("pushButton") self.radioButton = QtWidgets.QRadioButton(self.centralwidget) self.radioButton.setGeometry(QtCore.QRect(170, 336, 91, 20)) self.radioButton.setObjectName("radioButton") self.radioButton_2 = QtWidgets.QRadioButton(self.centralwidget) self.radioButton_2.setGeometry(QtCore.QRect(350, 336, 91, 20)) self.radioButton_2.setObjectName("radioButton_2") self.label = QtWidgets.QLabel(self.centralwidget) self.label.setGeometry(QtCore.QRect(220, 32, 271, 16)) self.label.setObjectName("label") self.textEdit = QtWidgets.QTextEdit(self.centralwidget) self.textEdit.setGeometry(QtCore.QRect(250, 144, 104, 71)) self.textEdit.setObjectName("textEdit") MainWindow.setCentralWidget(self.centralwidget) self.retranslateUi(MainWindow) QtCore.QMetaObject.connectSlotsByName(MainWindow) def retranslateUi(self, MainWindow): _translate = QtCore.QCoreApplication.translate MainWindow.setWindowTitle(_translate("MainWindow", "MainWindow")) self.pushButton.setText(_translate("MainWindow", "PushButton")) self.radioButton.setText(_translate("MainWindow", "RadioButton")) self.radioButton_2.setText(_translate("MainWindow", "RadioButton")) self.label.setText(_translate("MainWindow", "TextLabel"))
import sys from PyQt6.QtWidgets import QApplication, QMainWindow from file import Ui_MainWindow app = QApplication(sys.argv) window = QMainWindow() ui = Ui_MainWindow() ui.setupUi(window) window.show() sys.exit(app.exec())
