How to become a Junior coder?

I came across such a picture that reflects the percentage of success in a career 5de312951b921370882396.png
. From it it is clear that if there are no connections, then it is almost impossible to become what you want. I would like to ask if there are people here who themselves could get into it without parents or acquaintances, they are more interested in the web direction, layout designer / front. And what did you go to to achieve success?

Hey!
Now there are a lot of opportunities to become whoever you want, especially in the field of IT. Not for free, of course, you will have to spend at least your time, it requires perseverance and perseverance, as well as a lot of practice and repetition. At the same time, you need to understand that you need to remove pattern thinking and try to improvise in the course of learning new practices, tools and skills, there is no way without it.
For example, recently Yandex announced admission to SRI 2020, details at the link:
Yandex School of Interface Development
If you search, you can find other resources and schools for training.
Also for the future, if you want to quickly roll into the field of IT, then you need to improve the level of English at least to read technical documentation, since on the way an IT specialist will have a lot of material in English.

I am the lead. My girlfriend has been front-end for a year. I could not pass my interview, although she had a direct "connection", gygy. This is me to the fact that the picture is not corrected with reality.
The situation is such that now there are no jun/mid/senior. There are only those who know how to solve problems / problems and will be useful to the project, and those who do not know how. In all seriousness, I don’t understand who the juns are, and how the middle differs from the senior. Correct me if I'm wrong (this is an appeal to the experienced, ofk).
Therefore, two recommendations:
1. Forget about "joon-positions". This is no more. Look at yourself through the eyes of an employer, and evaluate your skills from a position: will they be useful on his project? And if the skills are not enough, then you need to swing further.
2. Make a normal portfolio for yourself -> this is actually a guaranteed receipt of at least some offer. 3 small projects with the usual layout - it's about nothing, even if there are no blots.

I don’t know a single person in IT who would get there through connections, without effort. I myself am a photographer by education, now I work in a cool company at the front.
And believe me, I did not have to apply anything but diligence.
Do not be discouraged because you found some kind of picture. Seriously ...
And in general, do not google such game! This is advice for everyone

The picture is not entirely correct, but those who claim that dating do not have an impact on getting a job, or have less than your mind or creativity, spit in your face or sympathize, depending on whether the person is sick or just a hypocrite. People have such a trait to quickly forget how it really was for the sake of thoughts about their own awesomeness. No, I'm on my own, all on my own. Not by chance, but because I'm so awesome.
Yes, in some areas / in some positions, the influence of acquaintances is minimized. These are exceptions. For example, positions where there is a lot of responsibility, and the salary does not correspond to it at all. It just needs a scapegoat.
Regarding IT, a simple example: for several years I fought to at least call, at least send a test task. And nothing. And then just at the next job (not IT) I met a man whose friend worked in a company that makes websites. Everyone, please - 2 tickets to different places. Not like everything - we take it, but they gave it a chance. Whether all are arranged through acquaintances - are not present. Whether all are arranged WITHOUT acquaintances - no.
Another very important skill is communication. Not the one that is praised in books, but the ability to pretend to be so clear and in general. The ability to lie in such a way that it is pleasant / convenient for the authorities, the ability to turn everything around so that the achievements of other people become yours. Such in any area go up.
And if you have neither acquaintances, nor the ability to communicate - then yes, then either mega-diligence or nothing or stupidly bang your head against the wall until you break through - maybe a week will go away or maybe 10 years. For example, if you present your own Instagram or DOOM, then at least for 20k a month they will take you for a test.
Well, plus another important point is the time at which you are trying to get somewhere, the city in which you are trying to get settled. For example, in 2010 it was much easier to have loot from sites than now. And in Moscow, the probability of getting a job will be higher than in Norilsk.
