Do Russian IT companies employ those who do not have Russian citizenship?
I am not a citizen of Russia. What are the chances of getting an official job in IT for me in Russia? It was the case lived in Lipetsk for a short time. The telephone conversation ended immediately as soon as they found out that I was not a citizen (the work was not related to IT).

Citizenship, like any other factors other than professional level, is secondary. If you are a rare specialist who is impossible or very difficult to find in the local market, if your work more than pays off all the costs of hiring a stateless person, then they will certainly take it. And if you are no different from other applicants, but have citizenship, then they will not take it.
From experience this is not a problem at all. I worked in a company that officially hired even junior layout designers from the CIS countries (Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan) and it was far from Moscow. Obviously, the company's management considered it beneficial to cooperate with these guys.
They tear off their hands, it’s just personal income tax 30 percent, but this is not a problem, I think with a good salary
