How to become a freelance specialist?

Hello! How to become a good freelancer on your own without office experience and is it even possible? I do layout and write in php, js, but I myself understand that my code leaves much to be desired. , how good is my code and how can I make it better .. Although the code in other people's projects that I have to work with is many times worse than mine, and this once again confirms that only ignoramuses and incompetent specialists work on freelance .. What are the ways not follow in their footsteps, but really become a valuable asset and a professional, apart from the office?

You can become a good freelance specialist in the same way as a good specialist in the office.
You have to work, study, work, study.

possible, but not necessary.
you need to go freelancing as an already established specialist . then further professional growth will be good, and earnings will be good.
to start with freelancing - consciously choose fast money now and slow professional growth.
in an office with more experienced colleagues (this is important, with more experienced and engaged in the same specialization as you) - you will grow many times faster professionally.
on freelancing, if you don’t have a base, experience - everything is bad with a simple one. I have repeatedly met freelancers with 5-7-9 years of experience who could do no more than a June in my company after 2 years of work.
conclusion: I categorically do not recommend spoiling your future like that.
it is much more efficient to go to the office, close to experienced colleagues. people like to teach others (yes, even here it can be seen) - they will be happy to prompt and help you (just don’t get it and don’t be lazy, think hard with your head too).
if you still want to - read Habr and practice as much as possible. Humanity has not invented anything other than practice for self-development.
