How to backup windows server?

Good day everyone. I want to backup a screw server.
The main role is Direct Access and I want to quickly deploy it if something comes up.
As practice has shown, copying group policies is not enough, and the new server refuses to use them.

I looked at Windows Backup, but it requires a separate volume and makes incremental copies, which delays the process a bit, but maybe I'm wrong.
The wheelbarrow is spinning in the esxi hypervisor. I tried Veeam backup - it immediately takes a snapshot, but the thing is paid.
Whether there is any best practice for backup of the screw server with its subsequent recovery?

Free backups - it's not that they don't exist, but to get them - you have to have a lot of sex. Backups are the basis of the admin's work, saving on this can lead to loss of work :)
I use Nakivo Backup & Replication. The main advantage - works directly on the shelf (Synology/QNAP). That is, I ordered a more powerful shelf, filled it with disks up to 10-20 Tb - and that's it, take off. Paid. Not cheap. I haven't seen it on torrents. A stellar thing.

1. Veeam Backup Community Edition is free. Supports ESXI, allows you to make a complete copy of the VM for its deployment / recovery.
2. WIndows Server Backup is a great built-in backup for Microsoft products.
The presence of a separate volume completely costs itself by creating a VHD disk in any directory and mounting it as a separate disk (the main thing is not to forget to add this directory to the exceptions later).
