How to backup the recovery partition?
Good afternoon)
Interested in a way to create an image for system recovery.
The netbook has a hhd volume of 250GB 15 of which is occupied by the system recovery image.
Accordingly, why all this is needed, tk. netbox has recently stopped coping with windows 7 starter, it was decided to roll the manjaro distribution.
Because windows is still a license, I would not want to lose it.
Actually, I have thoughts on how to implement everything, but I'm not sure if it will work.
In general, the plan is this ..
1) delete all partitions except for the recovery partition.
2) install manjaro and enjoy....
But... How can I restore windows later if necessary???
As far as I remember, the recovery partition with the name windows 7 recovery partion is displayed in the grab, if I'm not mistaken ...
Is it possible to restore windows in this situation ??
And I'm also interested in the question ... do I need an activation key in order for the license to be preserved ??

How to backup the recovery partition?Any program that can make copies of disks and partitions. For example Acronis or Clonzilla.
And I'm also interested in the question ... do I need an activation key in order for the license to be preserved ??A license is the rights holder's permission to use his product. May be in written or oral form. Usually, manipulations with disk partitions do not affect the license stored in the lawyer's cabinet. Therefore, it will not be necessary to restore it, unless, of course, the lawyer loses it.
"License" - permission to use (+ activation key), but not the distribution itself.
For the disk, you can simply create a clone or copy in any "normal" way, there are scripts that start the actual recovery process.
It is restored simply by downloading from it and sometimes by manually launching some file.
