How to backup files and database on linux server?

Good afternoon.
There is a server without any admin panel. The site files are at the root. Where the DB lies - I have no idea. But the task is to make a backup of files and databases daily. In which direction do you look? What is not an article on the Internet is about a backup copy of the system.
Thanks

let's go to the search exactly according to your voros...
results:
BACKUP MYSQL DATABASES BACKUP MYSQL DATABASES
ON UBUNTU SERVER
+ ready script:
MySQL server and database backup
SIMPLE SCHEDULE SITE BACKUP
and another note:
14 backup utilities for Linux -systems
and... searching for database files - mysql is the standard location of database files on linux,
but if you make a "cold" copy of the database (ie files), then the database service must first be stopped.
PS: Are you sure you tried searching?

There is a task - solve.
Google is full of information, you just need to understand how to ask a question. A file-level backup can be done in a zillion ways.
