How to avoid stagnation?
I've been freelancing for about a year and I have a problem. The tasks are mostly of the same type, I rarely see something new. This makes me feel stagnant. I decided to learn something new at the same time, but due to the fact that new knowledge was not applied in practice, I abandoned it after a while. How to avoid it?

This is often and not without reason attributed to the minuses of freelancing. I could not find a solution for myself, even a successful pet project does not bring the same pace of development that can be achieved in the office.
I do this: I have a team of narrow specialists. A project comes under my teammate, and it needs the use of some technology that I don’t own, but which is interesting to me. And I say to the teammate: let me do it, and you will mentor. And that's it, I work for free - all the money is received by my colleague, who in this situation acts as my mentor. And so I grow and bring variety into my life. If, as a result, I have some kind of technology pumped over, then I personally take projects on this technology for myself.
To avoid stagnation, you need to develop.
To develop, you need to get out of your comfort zone.
When you step out of your comfort zone, you step out of stagnation mode.
