Using the excel and word merge tool, I create several personal letters. Then I save them in a separate folder in PDF format. They are saved, of course, under the names part_01.pdf, 02, 03, etc. I need them to be renamed at once in accordance with the surname, which is indicated in the letter itself. So that in the end it turned out: Ivanov I.I..pdf, Petrov P.P..pdf, etc.

Since the files are created in the order that the rows are stored in your original Excel file, you can write a batch file that will loop through the pdf files by serial number and rename them based on what name is stored in the corresponding row. You just have to add a column with numbers in order to Excel.
