How to automatically delete spam on default mailboxes on hosting?

When buying any hosting, a mailbox is automatically set up on the domain.
After a while, the mail/new folder gets clogged. You don't use these boxes.

How can I set up auto deletion of mail in the C panel so that it does not eat the host all the time.

Create a left gmail and download this mail without saving it on the server. At the same time, spam will be filtered out and maybe you will even read what remains.

write to the host - let him close the box. I closed those who wished at one time.

I'm not sure if there is such a function. Try setting up any mail client to collect messages from this mailbox via pop3, with the "delete from server" flag.
In the mail client, you can delete such messages by filtering by the "To" field. Or just put it in a separate folder.

Theoretically, if you create an MX record in the DNS editor and specify localhost as a mail handler, then mail and spam from outside simply will not come.
In practice, your sites can send mail, and error messages will fall into these boxes.
And inadequate spammers can send mail directly to A-records, that is, to the same server that serves the site.

If you mean that [email protected] mail is collected in the default mailbox, just change the "box to collect all mail" in the settings. Or delete it.
If the box is needed, but spam interferes, you need to configure SpamAssassin so that it kicks spam without putting it anywhere.

If the box cannot be removed, it can often be limited in size.
Make it minimal and let it overflow.

A slightly perverted method, but you can install Mail For Domain from Yandex or Google Apps - let spam accumulate there, and you will have mailboxes like [email protected]
