How to automatically connect to an already known network on android if it appears in range?

Good day, dear Habracitizens!

Naked Android in terms of working with WiFi networks is completely unusable. Too far to climb behind the list of networks. Yes, and the list lists all the networks to which I have ever connected, and not those that are visible now. Uncomfortable.

The WiFi Manager application partly solved the problem. But only in part.

It did not eliminate the most important inconvenience ... I come home ... and I need to clearly poke at the phone in order to connect to the home network. I come to a friend, and again I have to poke at the phone so that he grabs his network.
I come to work ... another network again. And if I go somewhere and come back, I again need to connect the phone manually.

Does anyone know of an app that automatically connects to an already known network when the phone senses it?

On the Market, I have already gone through a bunch of programs. None of them seems to solve this problem...

strange, but on acer liquid and with 1.6 and 2.1 and 2.2 there are no such problems ... if wifi is turned on and the access point is in range, the phone automatically connects to it, what kind of phone model do you have?

you have some problems with the device. If there is a more recent radio - flash it. Androyd normally connects to networks known to him, verified by personal experience, I have about a dozen networks where I visit, half of them are also hidden and with certificate authentication (801.x) - no problem.

I have LG GT540.
Checked it right now. Doesn't connect. Until you poke into the right network.
And what else infuriates - it disconnects from the network itself. Even in the presence of network activity.
Writes that it is supposedly connected, but the wi-fi icon in the notification bar does not light up. I turn off and turn on the wifi - it lights up.

OK. In principle, such suspicions were.
Most likely it's the new firmware. Haven't finished it yet.
Thanks to all.
