How to automatically change the optimal and maximum performance?

There is Windows 10.

If you set "Maximum performance" in the power options, then the processor always runs at high frequencies. As soon as I set "Optimal performance", the frequencies immediately drop, but a problem appears - FPS drops in games.

How to make sure that maximum performance is enabled for heavy loads, and optimal performance for light loads?

Use something like Game Booster , a utility that will detect that the game is running and unscrew everything by itself.
