Hello.
There is an institution in which TV sets are connected to which the image is fed from a laptop.
It is very necessary:
​​1) What would be some kind of playlist generator for videos (which works automatically)
2) What would wedged commercials over the main picture
Ready to consider the option with IPTV. BUT - I know how to stream, but I couldn't find how to automate the process of creating playlists and inserting ads.

I will soon have to solve the same problem. I think it would be possible to go this way: in one directory we collect all the videos and commercials we have, the files are numbered 0001, 0002, etc. playback of type mplayer 0009.avi; mplayer 0010.avi
Every 3rd file for example there will be an advertisement. With the addition of logos to the video - I don’t know, I probably need to run the video then through the video editor and add this very logo ....
