How to automate photo layout?

Friends! Given 48 square photos, you need to quickly and in a minimum number of steps decompose them onto a sheet 6 wide by 8 high. There was a plug-in for PS - Tych Panel 2, but this is not quite what you need. It is long and you have to insert each column separately.

And then there are quite trivial settings
