How to automate mailbox health monitoring?

A situation arose when the mail.ru service blocked our mailbox, through which mail notifications from the site went, and we did not find out about it right away. Of course, we wrote to support and they unlocked the box, but time passed.

And how would we automate this process so that if we get a bad entry in the logs or a bad response from the mail server, so that we know about it right away and so as not to climb into the logs every time?

After all, as soon as the mailbox fails, a catastrophe will begin - the death of the resource. Purchases will stop, sending invoices for payment, notifications, registration - everything will stop.

Zabbix, parsing a daily test email from a mailbox, trigger by condition. Something like this. You can assemble the design, but I'm too lazy to think over the issue for free.

why is it all tied to the mail.ru mailbox? Yes, even why the registration stop, not to mention the purchases and forwarding invoices for payment?

Duplicate important notifications by other channels. Other mail or SMS/Messenger

If you send a letter from the site, in case of non-delivery, an error message should come. Where is the reason for non-delivery.
