How to authenticate to gitlab from an AD domain?

Hello! I'm trying to authenticate users in gitlab from an AD domain. I set everything up according to this guide docs.gitlab.com/ce/administration/auth/ldap.html#e... .
I do the following:

[[email protected] gitlab]$ sudo gitlab-rake gitlab:ldap:check                       Checking LDAP ...

LDAP users with access to your GitLab server (only showing the first 100 results)
Server: ldapmain

Checking LDAP ... Finished

The LDAP light is on in the web interface. But users from AD are not added. What can be wrong?
