How to audit software in a local network?
There was a need for regular software audit in the network. By and large, nothing complicated is required:
1. Free of charge or for reasonable money.
2. From time to time create a list of installed software on the network and write somewhere. In the database, for example.
3. Ideally, if there have been changes since the last survey, then notify by letter / otherwise.
Please suggest solutions.
PS: I understand that the list of software should not change at all without the knowledge of those responsible, but nevertheless I ask for an answer on the topic.
PPS: Of course, such a solution is not difficult to write yourself if you have PowerShell on client machines, but there may be ready-made solutions.
