How to assemble a stationary device on android for the following needs?
Hello everyone,
in general, there was a need to create a custom stationary device that would have Internet access, something like a POS terminal, but without the possibility of payment. I understand that most small pos terminals are essentially an android tablet or some other android device?
In general, the requirements for the device
- power
- ethernet connection
- wifi / maybe mobile internet
- display
- OS android
In general, I don’t really understand what request to contact Google with :)
I would be very grateful if you tell me how to search for such devices correctly or maybe tell us how to assemble a single device from the listed requirements for the device, in which direction to dig.

You will get the least problems, the highest performance per dollar, and the lowest costs with soldered processor mitx boards.
x86 - the whole stack of standard components like sata, pci-e for gpu or expansion cards, honest gb-ethernet, ram 8-16gb!
Standard atx power supply (plus on Ali, a lot of adapters are sold for every taste, from power from a car battery to solar panels).
The power consumption of Intel's solutions is around 15 watts, passive cooling.
Prices for board + memory can be from 5t.r. comparable to a raspberry but at the same time much more productive, unfortunately the case and the power supply unit can cost many times more, everything is for your needs, but you get your own case.
Any OS - from windows and linux to android.
