How to ask github to fix the code?

The crux of the matter is this, I'm a non-programmer. Posted the source on github. The source was written to me on order, a year ago.
Now it's time to make changes.
The most I can do is to write in the readme a request to correct "so-and-so".
Is there any mechanism to create some kind of public request for help fixing the code?
Sorry it's messy. I hope you understood what I meant.

Yes, it's easy to do.
You post the code on github, write a task that the developer must complete, and post it on the sites of the https://freelansim.ru/ category with a reward.
Choose the artist you like, and he does.
