How to ask for permission to use copyrighted material in an Android app?

Task: to make an Android application with tips and walkthrough for PC, something like, say, ''X-game Tips & Tricks''. Question: what is the best way to write a letter to the game developers with a request for a "blessing" of this undertaking? Of the materials that are planned to be used - several images (for the icon), several screenshots from the game (in the body of the application) and, in fact, the name of the game (in the application name). The app is free and moderate AdMob ads are planned. There is a successful experience in implementing such a plan of applications "without demand", but there was a need for "legalization" in order to avoid;)

"Hello! I want to use your product to earn money. I'm not going to pay you anything, because I myself will most likely earn little, and you are probably already rich! ATP, I'm waiting for an answer like a nightingale of summer!"

But no way. None of the developers of more or less popular games will respond to such nonsense. And sooner or later, Google's automatic check will find the application and ban it (together with the account, if there are several applications).
